7Children starting school in Surrey are admitted in the September following their fourth birthday.  Applications for reception class places at the Raleigh School should be made to Surrey County Council by January in the year of entry.  Information on schools admissions will be found here: http://new.surreycc.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools/school-admissions/apply-for-a-school-place

If you would like to move your child to the Raleigh from another school,  please download and complete our in-year admissions form and submit, with supporting documentation, either in electronic form to info@theraleigh.org or by hand to:

APPEALS

The Governing Body of The Raleigh School has agreed to buy back the services of the Surrey Schools Appeals Service who will manage the appeals process and hearings on the school’s behalf.

The school advises any parent(s) wishing to appeal to do so on-line or download the relevant documents from the Schools’ Directory on the Surrey Country Council website or the school may send the names and addresses of parent(s) wishing to appeal to the Surrey Schools’ Appeals Service who will send them the relevant Appeal form and detailed Guidance Notes.

The school will advise any parent(s) wishing to appeal to contact the Local Authority, if they have not already done so, to find out which school(s) in the area may have places available.

The school will advise any parent(s) appealing to return their completed appeal form to the Surrey Schools’ Appeals Service and not to the school direct.
