"Inspiring tomorrow's citizens"

Learning

At The Raleigh we provide our pupils with a broad and balanced curriculum. We teach the programmes of study as set out in the National Curriculum. We supplement this with our own distinctive school-based curriculum, the aim of which is to 'Inspire Tomorrow's Citizen's'. This school-based curriculum reflects our values and ethos and promotes good citizenship, for example through the teaching of diversity and British Values. This is underpinned by our international work, which incorporates study of, and communication with, partner schools around the globe. The school is pleased to have received the British Council's International Award in recognition of this work.

In addition, our school promotes healthy lifestyles, both through our curriculum provision and through our extensive use of physical activity across the curriculum and beyond. Again, this aspect of our provision has been recognised through the attainment of a Gold standard Sportsmark award.

Should you require any further information regarding our curriculum, please speak to the School Office.
