Volunteering at The Raleigh
We are always keen to hear from parents, carers, members of the community, and local organisations who would like to volunteer at The Raleigh School.
There is enormous value in children working with a wide range of different people. Whether it's reading with an adult, learning a new skill, or simply hearing a different perspective, these experiences help to broaden children’s horizons and deepen their understanding of the world around them. Volunteers enrich school life in so many ways and the relationships formed are often just as meaningful for the adults involved as they are for the pupils.
Volunteering can take many forms, from regular commitments such as supporting in the classroom or library, to occasional help with school trips, events, and clubs. We also welcome those who can share a particular area of expertise or interest — whether it's gardening, music, storytelling, science, or something completely different. If you’re part of a local business, charity, or community group and would like to work with us, we’d love to explore ways to collaborate.
All volunteers receive appropriate guidance and support, and we carry out the necessary safeguarding checks in line with our policies.
If you're interested in getting involved, please get in touch with the school office — we’d be delighted to hear from you.
